I read this some time in 2012, but thought I'd review the entire series once I'd finish it, but now I doubt I will ever finish it, so I'll review the books I have read instead. Soldiers is magnificent. Really and truly magnificent. I do like the romance genre, but I can't stand actual romance. Quiiiite the problem when it comes to finding new books. Talk of emotions and relationships kind of make me queasy, so this was perfect. It's as macho as it can possibly get, these people have so much crap on their consciences and yet the only way to describe it is as an epic love story.
